Kids' Own Publishing Partnership is a not for profit arts organisation and publishing house based in Sligo, serving the 32 counties of Ireland. We are the only dedicated publisher of books by children in Ireland. Kids' Own create exemplary arts opportunities for children and the professional that work with children. We work in short and long term partnerships with many institutions and organizations. Professional artists are catalysts for creativity within all our work. We devise short term and long-term publishing and residency programmes in schools, libraries, youth centers, and crèches.
At the heart of our work we value children's cultural entitlement, children's creativity and expression, childhood for all children, excellence and good practice working with children.
We also work as consultants to other arts organizations providing support working with children and young people.
