Kids' Own has developed expertise in project management and best practice over thirteen years of engagement between children and professional artists through collaborative book publishing and school residency programmes.
As part of our aim to support and strengthen the sector of arts practice with children and young people, we offer a consultancy service, in which we will work in partnership with other organizations that are committed to reflective practice and qualitative engagement.
In a consultancy capacity Kids' Own can assume a range of roles in creative projects with children, from full project management to one-off interventions. We specialize in creative exchange facilitation, long-term project structuring, cross-sectoral collaboration and dialogue, and mentorship.
Currently Kids' Own are working with Helium, A children, arts & health company to share of model of engagement with artists and children and to provide continuous professional development of artists on this Programme through mentoring, artists journals on practice.ie, online meetings and skills sharing.
