Kids’ Own have developed a flexible, fluid model that is transparent and process-led. We provide a way of working that empowers children and young people to develop their individual creative expression through authentic arts practice.
Dialogue is essential in all our work. The model we have developed provides the time and structure for those involved to work together to plan, play, enquire, discover, create, reflect and learn.
A core aim for Kids' Own is to continue to lead and inspire best practice working with children. It is important for us that we continue to demonstrate exemplars of good practice, which push boundaries, exploring new ways of learning and working with children and young people through the arts.
We aim to continue to create opportunities for children and young people to engage with professional artists. The aim of this work is to provide a space for the children to express and share their real selves and voices.
